Despite inheriting a team that had suffered through three straight losing seasons, Christine Paciero led the Stars to a 16-15 overall record and the program's first appearance in the Northern Athletics Conference (NAC) Tournament in her first season as the Stars' head coach. Paciero's Stars finished the conference regular season in a three-way tie for fourth place and led the NAC in team hitting percentage and service aces. Paciero coached the NAC's Rookie of the Year and had four players receive post-season honors from the conference landing on the All-Conference, All-Conference Honorable Mention and All-Rookie teams.

Paciero possesses over 18 years of coaching experience, including collegiate experience as an assistant coach at Wayne State University (1996-1998), Schoolcraft Community College (1992-1995) and Madonna University (1991). At Schoolcraft Community College, Paciero helped recruit quality student-athletes that carried the program to a number of conference championships and an appearance in the NJCAA National Tournament. Paciero then shifted to Wayne State University where she helped the Warriors to a pair of Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (GLIAC) South Division Championships.

Prior to Dominican, Paciero served as the varsity girls' volleyball coach at Cedarburg High School in Cedarburg, Wis. where her teams captured four conference championships in six years. As a high school coach, Paciero's players garnered four conference player of the year awards and ten All-State honors.

As a player, Paciero was a member of the 1998 Schoolcraft Community College NJCAA National Championship squad before joining the volleyball program at Florida Southern College, a Division II school located in Lakeland, Fla. While at Florida Southern, Paciero and the Lady Mocs appeared in the NCAA Division II Final Four in 1989 and then the Elite Eight in 1990.

In addition to her responsibilities with the Dominican University volleyball program, Paciero serves as Assistant Sports Information Director.
