The Dominican University Department of Athletics is preparing for the department's first season of men's golf intercollegiate competition in the Fall of 2010 and Spring of 2011 with Sam Hargraves assigned the duties of head coach for the program. The Stars have released a tentative schedule for the 2010-2011 academic year for the program.
The Stars' Fall schedule includes five meets beginning with the Culver's Edgewood College Fall Classic in early September and culminating with the Northern Athletics Conference (NAC) Men's Golf Tournament which opens play on Saturday, October 9, at Whistling Straits Irish Course in Kohler, Wis. The Stars then resume competition in the Spring of 2011 with a three-meet schedule which will include the NAC Automatic Qualifier Meet at the Stonebridge Country Club in Aurora, Ill., with the conference's bid to the NCAA Division III Men's Golf Tournament on the line.
