A 2006 graduate of the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater, Ed Adamson joined the Dominican University baseball staff as an assistant coach for the 2009 season. In addition to his work with the Stars, Adamson has served as a coach at Round Lake High School and with Great Lakes Baseball. As a player, Adamson lettered with the UW-Whitewater Warhawks for three seasons including the 2005 season when the Warhawks won the NCAA Division III National Championship and Adamson was named an American Baseball Coaches Association All-American. During that season, Adamson set the Warhawks' single-season records for runs batted in (73), hits (82) and doubles (20). For his collegiate career, Adamson ranks in the top five in the Warhawks' record books for career batting average (.387), runs batted in (133) and doubles (37). He was a two-time all-conference selection in the Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletics Conference (WIAC) and two-time all-region selection as well as a three-year academic all-conference honoree. |
