Aaron Adsit enters his second season as the Stars' hitting coach and infield defensive instructor. Last season, under Adsit's direction the Stars' broke ten team and six individual single season offensive records including a .323 team batting average (up from .253 in 2008), 280 runs scored, 399 hits and 82 doubles. In addition, the Stars scored 10+ runs in 15 (out of 38) games.

Along with his experience at Dominican last season, Adsit spent the 2009 summer season as the Manager of the Snappers in the River Valley League in Dubuque, Iowa, coaching five All-River Valley League selections including two first teamers in the collegiate summer league.

Prior to Dominican, Adsit spent three seasons as a coach at the high school level at Saguaro High School in Scottsdale, Ariz., and Palmyra-Eagle High School in Palmyra, Wis. He also serves as a hitting instructor at Experienced Fitness in South Holland, Ill.

As a collegiate player, Adsit played at University of Wisconsin Parkside, an NCAA Division II institution. He played on the school's only back-to-back regional qualifying teams in 2004 and 2005 and won the school's only Great Lakes Valley Conference championship in 2005.
