River Forest, Ill. - Dominican University's Colby Batchelor received honorable mention for the 2007 Boise Summer League All-League Team as a pitcher with the Eagle Falcons.

Batchelor made seven appearances on the mound for the Eagle Falcons, posting a 5.32 earned run average over 44.0 innings. Opposing hitters managed a .288 batting average off Batchelor as he struck out 31 hitters while walking just 12.

Batchelor, a 5'11" junior right-hand pitcher and middle infielder for the Stars, throws a fastball that tops out in the low- to mid-80s and complements it with a change-up and a slider. He made eight appearances for the Stars last spring, logging over 41 innings pitched and posting a 5.66 ERA.

The Boise Summer League is a wooden bat league that provides collegiate ballplayers from the NCAA, NAIA and NJCAA the opportunity to fine-tune their skills and log additional innings outside of their traditional college seasons.
