River Forest, Ill. - The Northern Athletics Conference (NAC) released the weekly Student-Athletes of the Week with Dominican's Marquis Turley earning the award for the second consecutive week in men's basketball.

Turley continued his scoring barrage in leading the Stars to a pair of NAC victories last week. The 6-1 junior guard averaged 24.5 points, 7.0 assists, 4.5 rebounds and 1.0 steals per game as the Stars topped Aurora and Rockford last week. Turley shot over 42 percent from the field (14-of-33) and over 90 percent from the charity stripe (20-of-22). In the win over Rockford, Turley scored a game-high 31 points, 23 in the second half, in a tight 77-71 victory.
