Stan Micic was a 2006 selection for the Northern Athletics Conference (NAC) All-Rookie Team as a freshman for the Stars. During the season, Micic appeared in 22 games and tallied one goal and three assists, including the game-winning goal in a 4-0 win over Lake Forest College on October 7.

At Prospect High School, Micic led the boys' soccer team to a conference championship, receiving All-Conference and All-Area recognitions in 2005.
