Plamen Pamukov is a decorated student-athlete at Dominican University after being named to the NSCAA All-Region Teams as a freshman and sophomore. As a freshman in 2005, Pamukov scored eight goals and ranked fifth in the nation with 16 assists for a total of 32 points. For his efforts, he was named the team's Most Improved Player. As a sophomore, Pamukov scored a career-high 15 goals and tallied 11 assists for a total of 41 points. At East Leyden High School, Pamukov was an West Suburban Conference All-Conference selection and an All-Area selection as a member of the boys' soccer team.
