River Forest, Ill. - Dominican University's Matt Kochanowski (Arlington Heights, IL) was named to the 2007 National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA) All America 3rd Team after leading the Stars to a 17-4-1 overall record and the program's sixth straight at-large bid to the NCAA Division III Men's Soccer Championships.

On the year, Kochanowski posted 13 goals and 19 assists for a total of 45 points. Nationally, the 5'10 junior, ranked third in the nation in assists per game and 33rd in the nation in points per game, averaging 0.86 assists per game and 2.05 points per game. Kochanowski led the Stars in nearly every offensive statistical category, including points, goals, assists, shots and shots on goal and ranked second on the team in game-winning goals.

In the Northern Athletics Conference (NAC), Kochanowski was named the NAC Co-Offensive Player of the Year as he finished in the top five in the NAC in points, goals and assists, leading the conference with 15 assists in just ten conference games.

In his career, Kochanowski has been named to the NSCAA All-Region First Team twice, the NSCAA All-Region Second Team once and has been on the All-Conference First Team all three seasons. In 2005 he was named the Lake Michigan Conference Rookie of the Year and was named the NAC Player of the Year in 2006.
