Travis Brooks takes over as the head men's and women's cross country coach for the 2006 season after spending the 2005 season as an assistant coach with both programs. Brooks, a 2004 graduate of Colgate University, earned four varsity letters as a member of the Colgate cross country team and was a two-time team captain and twice named to the East Coast Athletic Conference All-Conference team and was a four-time member of the conference's all-academic team. An accomplished runner, Brooks ran the Chicago Marathon in 2004 finishing with a time of 2:58:14. He has also ran the Boston Marathon and Reach the Beach, a 208-mile relay in New Hampshire. |
