River Forest, Ill. - For the second consecutive race, sophomore Jeanine Bentley (Downers Grove, IL) paced the Dominican University women's cross country team. At the Pre-NAC Invitational hosted by Concordia University Chicago, Bentley turned in a fifth place performance with a time of 26:00.32.

Teammate Megan Vaccaro (Oswego, IL) finished just three spots behind Bentley in eighth place, finishing the race in a time of 26:18.75. Freshman Eileen Eck (Oak Lawn, IL) rounded out the Stars' top-three finishers with a 30th place finish in a time of 29:34.49.

In the men's race, junior Frank Napolitano (Elmhurst, IL) was the Stars' top performer with a 34th place finish in a time of 35:19.26.
