River Forest, IL - Dominican University's Megan Vaccaro (Oswego, IL) was named the Northern Athletics Conference (NAC) Student-Athlete of the Week for women's cross country for the second consecutive week. Vaccaro, a 4'11" junior, covered the 6K course at Concordia Wisconsin's Falcon Invite in a time of 23:31.22, finishing behind only one other NCAA Division III runner and two NCAA Division I competitors from the University of Wisconsin.

Vaccaro, the Stars' top finisher in each of the team's three meets this season, set a personal record on Saturday, beating her best time of 24:11.00 set just one week earlier by nearly 40 seconds on a hot, sunny day. Vaccaro's race on Saturday is also the top time posted by any women's cross country runner in the NAC in a 6K race this season and the second best time in the three-year history of the conference.

Vaccaro and the Stars will run this Saturday at the Lakefront Invitational hosted by Loyola University at Montrose Harbor. The first race is scheduled to begin at 11:00 a.m.
