River Forest, Ill. - The Dominican University women's basketball team fell to the Lakeland College Muskies 61-42 on Saturday afternoon to slip to 7-13 overall and 3-11 in the Northern Athletics Conference (NAC). The Stars, who started the season 7-5, have now lost eight straight contests, all in NAC play.

Sophomore Sarah Budz (Orland Park, Ill.) logged her fourth straight double-double, and eighth double-double of the season, in the losing effort for the Stars posting ten points and 14 rebounds along with five assists. Budz, a 5-8 guard, is averaging 13.5 points and 13.5 rebounds per game over the last four contests, including a season-best 18-point, 18-rebound effort at Benedictine University.

Dominican will return to action on Tuesday evening, hosting the Alverno College Inferno in NAC action. Tipoff is scheduled for 7:00 p.m. in the Stars' Igini Sports Forum.
