Stars Release 2009 Women's Soccer Schedule
The Dominican University women's soccer team released its Fall 2009 schedule with the Stars opening the season at home on September 1, as they host Elmhurst College for a 5:00 p.m. kickoff. The Stars open the season with three non-conference opponents that went a 32-19-4 last fall, including the home match against Elmhurst and road matches at University of Dubuque and Augustana College. Dominican Athletics To Stream Live Video At Home Events
The Dominican University Department of Athletics announced on Thursday that it will begin streaming live video of home events for the 2008-2009 men's and women's basketball season and 2009 baseball season. Phipps and Arreola Named First Team All-Conference
The Northern Athletics Conference (NAC) announced the 2008 Women's Soccer All-Conference Teams with Dominican University's Liz Phipps (Bloomington, IL) and Nallely Arreola (Waukegan, IL) garnering NAC All-Conference First Team honors. The freshman duo helped guide the Stars to the semifinals of the NAC Tournament, posting an overall record of 13-6-2 and going 10-2-0 in conference play. [+]
