Brandi Disterhoft was a 2006-2007 Northern Athletics Conference (NAC) Scholar-Athlete as well as a member of the Dominican University Dean's list as a freshman while competing as a member of the women's soccer program.

A graduate of Geneseo High School, Disterhoft was a four-year member of the Geneseo girls' soccer team and a three-year starter. The North Central Illinois Conference named her to the All-Conference second team in 2005 and 2006. She won the team's Most Improved Player award in 2005 and was named the team's MVP in 2006.
