Josh Goldkamp joins the Dominican University women's soccer program as an assistant coach for the 2008 season. Goldkamp comes to Dominican with an abundance of experience in the game of soccer ranging from player to club coach to camp director and instructor. Most recently, Goldkamp is serving as a head coach and an assistant director of the acorn academy (youth development) with the Oak Park-River Forest Strikers Travel Soccer Club. With the club, Goldkamp serves as the head coach of both U12 boys teams and the U11 boys competitive team. Goldkamp also served as a volunteer assistant coach with his alma mater high school, McCluer North of St. Louis, from 2000-2004. As a player Goldkamp was awarded a soccer scholarship and played at Lindenwood University, an NAIA institution in St. Charles, Mo., and also played one season at Florissant Valley Community College. Currently Goldkamp plays for the Chicago Wings of the Chicago Metropolitan League. |
