River Forest, Ill. - The Dominican University women's soccer team snapped a five-game winning streak with a 4-1 loss at Edgewood College in Madison, Wis. on Saturday. Mayra Camacho (Summit, IL) netted the lone goal for the Stars on a penalty kick in the 27th minute.

Edgewood struck twice in the first ten minutes of the game to pull out to a 2-0 lead before Camacho scored her team-leading 11th goal of the season for the Stars. The score remained 2-1 into the second half until the Eagles scored a pair of unanswered goals in the opening minutes of the second half.

The Stars were outshot 19-3 in the game and Edgewood held a 10-4 advantage in corner kicks.

The loss dropped Dominican to 5-4-0 on the season and 5-1-0 in the Northern Athletics Conference (NAC). Dominican will travel to Rockford College on Tuesday for a 4:00 p.m. game and then host Concordia University (WI) on Saturday for a 3:30 p.m. game on Dominican's West Campus Field.
