River Forest, Ill. - The Northern Athletics Conference (NAC) released the 2007 NAC All-Conference Women's Soccer Awards on Thursday with six student-athletes from Dominican University representing the Stars on the First, Second, Honorable Mention and All-Rookie Teams.

Leading the way for the Stars was junior forward Mayra Camacho (Summit, IL), the team's leading scorer for third straight season with 22 goals and 14 assists for a total of 58 points, landing on the NAC All-Conference First Team. On the year, Camacho scored 19 goals and logged 12 assists in 13 conference games to finish the season as the NAC's leader in points, goals and assists. In addition, Camacho became the Dominican University all-time leader in goals (74) and points (173) and ranks second on the all-time list for assists (25).

The Stars landed three players on the All-NAC Second Team. Sophomores Kelly Adler (Naperville, IL) and Rosio Curiel (Wheeling, IL) joined freshman Michelle Reynoso (Burbank, IL) on the second team while sophomore goalkeeper Jacqui Lani (Green Bay, WI) and freshman Catherine Petty (Crystal Lake, IL) received honorable mention for the all-conference teams.

Curiel and Petty joined with Lani to help Dominican post a 1.45 goals against average on the season with seven shutouts. As a team, the Stars' were the NAC's third-best defensive team, posting a 0.92 goals against average in conference play with six shutouts.

Dominican finished the season with a 13-8-0 overall record, going 10-3-0 in the NAC regular season and finishing the season as the NAC Tournament runner-up.
