Freshman Darcy Kammeier logged 46 kills, 58 digs and 7 blocks over her first four matches of her college career

River Forest, Ill. - Dominican University freshman outside hitter, Darcy Kammeier (Kirkwood, MO), was named to the 2007 Oglethorpe Classic All-Tournament Team after her first collegiate action on Saturday and Sunday. The rookie led the Stars to their first win of the season, posting 10 kills and 21 digs, against host Oglethorpe University (31-29, 30-20, 30-32, 30-26).

In four matches on the weekend, Kammeier logged 46 kills, 58 digs and seven total blocks. She averaged 3.07 kills and 3.87 digs per game in her first career collegiate action.

As a team, the Stars finished the weekend with one win and three losses. However, their one victory snapped a 31-match losing streak dating back to November 2005.
