Vaccaro Finishes 17th At Midwest Regional Race
Junior Megan Vaccaro (Oswego, IL) ran yet another personal best on Saturday as she competed, along with the rest of the Dominican University women's cross country team, at the 2008 NCAA Division III Midwest Regional on Saturday, covering the six-kilometer course in a time of 22:38.1 for a 17th place finish, narrowly missing the field of runners selected for the NCAA Division III National Race. Vaccaro Wins Individual NAC Women's Cross Country Championship
The Dominican University cross country teams traveled to Mequon, Wis., on Saturday morning to compete at the 2008 Northern Athletics Conference (NAC) Cross Country Championship and return home with the Megan Vaccaro (Oswego, IL) being crowned the NAC Women's Cross Country Individual Champion as she covered the 6-kilometer course in a personal best time of 22:40.
