Women's Cross Country Finishes Fifth At NAC Championship
The Dominican University women's cross country squad placed fifth out of ten teams at the 2009 Northern Athletics Conference Cross Country Championships. Seniors Megan Vaccaro (Oswego, Ill.) and Jeanine Bentley (Downers Grove, Ill.) paced the Stars, finishing eighth and 14th respectively, and earned all-conference honors for their finishes. [+]

Women's Cross Country Tops NAC Teams At Brooks Invitational
The Dominican University women's cross country team placed 25th out of 34 teams at the 2009 Brooks Cross Country Invite hosted by UW-Oshkosh on Saturday, October 17th. More importantly, of four Northern Athletics Conference (NAC) teams competing in the race, the Stars topped all their conference foes, paced by defending NAC Individual Champion Megan Vaccaro (Oswego, Ill.) who covered the six-kilometer course in a time of 23:58.65. Women's Cross Country Getting Healthy
The Dominican University women's cross country team has battled injuries throughout the 2009 season, finally returning the 2008 Northern Athletics Conference (NAC) Individual Champion on Friday at Benedictine University for her first race since September 4. Megan Vaccaro (Oswego, Ill.), the Stars top performer at the NAC Championship in each of the last three seasons, returned from a nagging injury to post a time of 24:41.84 over the six-kilometer course at Benedictine University.
