River Forest, Ill. - The Dominican University Department of Athletics announced on Friday that Colleen Newhart will become the Head Men's Cross Country Coach in addition to her role as the Head Women's Cross Country Coach.

Newhart guided the Dominican University women's cross country team to a sixth-place finish at the Northern Athletics Conference (NAC) Championship meet in early November, placing two runners in the top 12 finishers at the race. The Stars then went on to run in the NCAA Division III Midwest Regional Race at University of Wisconsin--Oshkosh, finishing 30th out of 37 teams, placing higher than a pair of NAC foes.
